I had a competitors case that was worn out from the airlines rough mishandling of the case. I needed a new one to fly my air balance equipment around the country. I tried to contact the manufacture of my existing case and they were unresponsive. When they finally received a response from the the lead time was several months. I did a web search and found NANUK! They were around the same price as their competitor with a much shorter lead time and a higher quality case with options to have a foam insert. Win - Win! I
Purchased this case to put spare LED panels for video screens bouncing down the road…you hope to never need a spare panel while out on a show, but I don’t have to worry about the spare panels getting damaged or not working traveling in this case.
Nanuk cases are high quality, thoughtfully designed and well made. The sturdy locking mechanisms mean that we don’t need to worry about the case accidentally opening and the “luggage style” hide away handle and wheels make it easy to manage.
Finding a hard case with room for cables and mounts was difficult but the 970 is huge and slotted foam gives me room to expand. Suitcase style wheels and retracting handle makes moving it very easy. I would reccomend this to anyone who is second guessing the security of their gear. A must for anyone who carries their equipment over harsh terrain.
