Tasks and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Sales Assistant to provide the necessary support to the field sales team. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information. The goal is to facilitate the team’s activities so as to maximize their performance and keep up to date with development on the company:

  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Prepare and fill important documents
  • Provide training on the different platform the sales team is using
  • Provide training on products
  • Communicate relevant information to the sales team
  • Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
  • Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports
  • Identify shortcomings and propose improvements
  • Ensure adherence to company policies/events
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material
  • Weekly reporting to his superior


Education :

College degree or any other specialization considered relevant

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in sales and customer service
  • Customer Centric
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel and Power Point skills)
  • Experience working with CRM
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic Great Plain (an asset)
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
  • Flexibility and availability to special events

Experience :

Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administrative position or customer service.

Technical and Professional skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English and French)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to communicate with customer service and production team
  • Excellent Computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excel intermediate to advanced
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
